Kirsten, I was inspired by your recent Mom & DD only trip to WDW. Thinking of surprising kids this year w/ a few days each for bdays (just me & them). Trouble is, bdays are June/July. As a Northern who hates heat, crazy idea? We've done Aug (not bi

    Hi Kaylene.

Thanks so much for visiting me online!
I had SUCH an enjoyable time during my Mother & Daughter trip to Walt Disney World! So many special, magical memories were made as I'm sure you can imagine.

As a fellow 'northerner' (I think I'm even a little more northern than you!), I do LOVE the Florida warmth and sunshine, but I'm not much of a fan of intense humidity.

What if you took your daughters together with you for their birthdays combined?
Just this past year, I was lucky enough to visit Walt Disney World in June and in September for my 40th birthday and that of my husband. I have to say that June was quite an enjoyable time of year to visit! It was LOVELY and warm - hot even ... but not as humid as I found it to be in September. We visited at the very end of May/early June and enjoyed the parks, resort pools and water parks to our hearts' content!

All the best to you as you begin planning your daughters' birthday surprises! If you have any questions along the way, feel free to drop back in for another visit. I'd love to hear from you again!

Wishing you a simply Magical time on your next Walt Disney World vacation Kaylene!
