Hi Heather!
It's a pleasure to hear from you again!
How exciting that you'll be sailing on the Disney Dream just before Christmas! You'll be blown away by the beautiful holiday décor adorning the ship as well as Castaway Cay.
I'm so happy to hear that you're planning a visit to Palo but that you
arrrrrrr not wanting to miss out on the swashbuckling festivities! The
Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party takes place on the third night of a typical 4-night Cruise. This will be the same day that you've visited Castaway Cay during the day.
Even if you're only able to secure a booking for Palo on the same evening as the Pirates IN the Caribbean, you'll find that you'll still be able to enjoy all the festivities as they don't really begin until later in the evening such that both dining seatings are finished. Consider attending your 'regular' dinner with your family, but only have a beverage while your children dine. Then, enjoy your Palo meal reservation and return to meet with your kids in time to attend the party and the spectacular fireworks show!
I'd recommend that you schedule your Palo reservation to be at least 30-45 minutes later than your usual dining time, so that you don't completely miss out on a fun evening of dining at Animator's Palate. This way, regardless of which evening you choose, you can accompany your children to dinner and then check them in for fun times with friends on board while you enjoy your delicious, adult meal.
Oh, and be
sure to order Palo's signature Chocolate Soufflé with vanilla bean and chocolate sauce. It's absolute heaven!
Please write me any time if I can be of further assistance to you in your planning!
Wishing you a simply Magical time as you cruise on board the Disney Dream Heather!
