    Hi Kirsten, I have asked you some other ?'s before. I was wondering what all you can get if you stay at a downtown disney hotel? Like what is the transportation, tickets, extra hours, just some general information about staying at one of them.

    Thanks for visiting me again. It's nice to hear from you!

    There are many 'non-Disney-owned' Resort Hotels in the Downtown Disney vicinity. Transportation and ticket options will vary by hotel chain. Extra Magic Hours are only offered to Guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, owned and operated by Walt Disney World.

    If you're wanting to be located close to the Downtown Disney Area for proximity to dining, shopping and entertainment, but you'd also like to take advantage of Disney perks such as Extra Magic Hours and transportation, I'd recommend that you consider a Disney Resort in the Downtown Disney Area.

    Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Old Key West Resort are Deluxe Villa Resort properties located closest to the area, accessible by boat or even walking distance. Just a little further up the 'Sassagoula River' you'll find 2 adjacent Moderate Resort Properties - Port Orleans French Quarter and Port Orleans Riverside. These two properties also provide regular boat service to Downtown Disney. Boats operate every 20 minutes until 4:30pm and every 10 minutes after that.

    If you're preferring to consider other non-Disney-owned properties in the area, contacting them directly or visiting their websites would be the best way to determine their transportation and ticket options for the Walt Disney World Parks.
