    What kinds of New Years Eve activities are there at the Cabins at Ft. Wilderness Lodge?

    Hi Stacey! New Years is a fun time to be at Walt Disney World but the fun is basically in the parks. That is where you will find the parties and the celebrations. All of the Disney resorts need to maintain quiet times in respect for those guests who do not wish to celebrate bringing in a new year.

    Fireworks of all kinds are strictly prohibited on property so your best bet at the Fort Wilderness Resort is to head on down to the beach. You can see the Magic Kingdom firework celebrations from there and enjoy a toast with other guests. They pipe the music in so you get almost the complete show without hassle. The lower fireworks at the castle are blocked by trees but you certainly see enough to make it worthwhile.
