Hello Amanda,
Thank you for coming to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I have traveled many times to Walt Disney World when each of my three kids were toddlers. It is so much fun to watch the joy and excitement through their tiny eyes.
I first suggest visiting the official site for
planning a Walt Disney World trip with little ones. This page offers suggestions for attractions that are most enjoyable for that age, sample itineraries, and other tips and recommendations. In my opinion, this one is one of the best planning pages offered on the Walt Disney World site.
While staying at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels, there are lots of activities available, but they do vary by resort. Most offer the
Movies Under the Stars and pool activities daily. Be sure to check with guest services upon check-in for the times and locations, as these could vary by day and week. Many resort hotels have
playground areas and
nightly campfires, complete with marshmallow roasting and storytelling, available.
In terms of dining, one of my favorites for toddlers is the
Disney Junior Play 'n' Dine at Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios. My children always enjoyed meeting the characters from their favorite shows. The buffet is very child friendly while also offering variety for the adults.
I hope this offers some helpful suggestions to begin your planning.
