Hi, Cheryl! Thank you for visiting planDisney with your question!
One of my favorite things about the Disneyland Resort is that all of three of the Disney resort hotels are
easily walkable to both theme parks and the
Downtown Disney District.
From the Disneyland Hotel it is a brief walk to Disney California Adventure Park. One of my favorite things about being a registered hotel guest is using the dedicated park entrance from Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Enter the Grand Californian from the Downtown Disney District, just past
The Disney Dress Shop, and walk through the lobby toward Storytellers Cafe. Just past there, make your way through security and find yourself right by Grizzly Peak and one my favorite places in the whole theme park -
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail!
Of course, if you want an iconic view and great photo opportunity between both theme parks, you can walk all the way through the Downtown Disney District to the main turnstiles. Enter Disney California Adventure Park at the main turnstiles and find yourself on Buena Vista Street. Enjoy a ride in style on the
Red Car Trolley, which boards right by the main entrance!
Cheryl, I am so excited for your upcoming visit and hope you'll visit us again at planDisney.
Have a magical time,
Melissa
