What kind of things are there to do as a DVC member at Kadani village. We will be there May 1 and 2nd. We are not going into the parks. This is our first time at AKL

    Hi Nadine,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I think that you are going to find that there is so much to do at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. The resort is amazing, with views of exotic animals from nearly every window, as well as rich and beautiful decor. Let me share some of my favorite activities at this resort with you.

Do be sure to check out the Samawati Springs Pool. This pool area features a zero-depth entry and waterslide. There is also a great water play area, Uwanja Camp, nearby for the children to splash in.

Also, consider having a meal at Sanaa. This restaurant features delicious Indian- and African-inspired fare, and has an amazing view of a savanna.

Finally, consult the recreation calendar that you receive upon arrival at the resort. Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village offers many recreation options, including those focused on culture, food, and animals. These activities can include learning to play African drums, cake decorating, and learning about the animals at the resort from cast members. These activities and offerings can change, so do consult the recreation calendar.

I hope that these thoughts give you some ideas for activities on your vacation, Nadine. Have a great time planning, and please do let us know if you have any further questions!
