What kind of "snacks" do you pack for your kids? Mine or 4 yr old girl, 3 yr old boy. We will be celebrating our girl's 5th birthday on 09.30 in Epcot.

    Hi Catherine!

It sounds like your daughter is going to have a birthday to remember! It is a great idea to bring some snacks along with you. You'll be glad you did when your kids need something quick!

When it comes to packing snacks to bring into the parks, I try to pack things that will hold up well in the backpack and that I know my kids will enjoy. I usually bring an assortment of crackers, fruit snacks, raisins and granola bars. My kids have a few favorites like goldfish crackers and pretzel sticks which I try to bring along. You can purchase the individual single serving packages, but it's often cheaper to bag small portions yourself in small ziploc bags.

I also bring along a small insulated lunch bag where I keep a few juice boxes or Capri Sun pouches along with a bottle of water. I'll usually put a couple of juice boxes in the freezer compartment of my refrigerator at the resort and they stay cool in the insulated bag until my kids are ready for them.

I mostly try to avoid things that will get sticky or melted in the hot weather.

I hope this helps! Enjoy your vacation!
