Hi Warren,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted that you brought this delicious dining plan question to us!
The
Disney Dining Plans offer a wide range of snack options. Each plan provides an example of some of the snacks that are available, but this list is not comprehensive. However, it will give you an idea of what types of items you can obtain with your snack credits.
- Frozen ice cream novelty, popsicle or fruit bar
- Popcorn scoop
- 12 oz. coffee, hot chocolate or hot tea
- Prepackaged milk or juice
- Piece of whole fruit
- Bag of snacks
- 20 oz. bottle of Coca-Cola®, Sprite® or Dasani® water
- 20 oz. fountain soft drink
We rarely use our snack credits for bottled drinks. We take our own water bottles to the parks and then get free cups of ice water during the day to refill our water bottles. Our girls love the smoothies from
Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies. We always stop by there after taking a spin at Tomorrowland Speedway. When we are in the parks and resorts, we look for the Disney Dining Plan symbol then check with a cast member to verify what counts as a snack at a particular location. There really are so many options that I am confident you will quickly find your favorites!
Warren, I always like to remind guests that dining plan credits are calculated per night of stay. For a five-night stay on the Disney Dining Plan, for example, each guest 3-years old and over would receive 10 meals (five table-service and five quick-service) and 10 snack credits. I always track our meal credits so that we do not run out before our departure day!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
