Hiya SB,
Welcome to planDisney! I just recently returned from a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I’m already planning my next one. The weather was so nice, and with
EPCOT International Flower and Garden in full bloom, it truly felt like spring!
Besides dining, SB, I can confidently say that my second biggest decision is what I plan to wear to the theme parks. I’m a mom of two under 4, so I typically reach for anything comfortable yet magical (which is typically athleisure). I understand, though, that you want to make sure your planned attire is okay to wear before packing it for your trip, so let’s take a peek at the
attire policies for Walt Disney World Resort (note that Cast Members do get final discretion in addition to these policies). The good news for both of us is that leggings are not listed within the attire policy for Guests! I actually wore a pair yesterday with no issues! What isn’t permitted is clothing that drags on the ground, is considered inappropriate, or detracts from the experience of other Guests. Also, costumes for Guests ages 14 or older and visible tattoos that contain objectionable language or designs are not permitted. For your leggings, I would recommend just making sure they aren’t sheer and fit into the family-friendly environment at the parks, and you will be good to go.
I hope this was helpful, SB. Before I let you go, as you are finalizing your packing, don’t forget to pack an umbrella and extra socks. We are in the time of year when a midday surprise shower is almost always in the forecast, so having rain gear is always a good idea! If you want to chance it, don’t worry, you can always purchase a poncho at any merchandise location. Please come back and see
us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
