Hello there, Katelyn! Welcome to planDisney! It's great to have you cruise our way with your question.
I read the word "transatlantic" and got so very excited for you! My family sailed on a
Transatlantic itinerary last year and have been talking about it ever since. First, to answer your question, yes, an internet package will be available to support web browsing and access to your email. The
Disney Dream offers three
internet package options and you can choose what is best for your needs.
The first package is called "Stay Connected" and offers access to social media sites. The second package is "Basic Surf" and offers access to social media, web browsing, email, and voice calls. The final package option, "Premium Surf", provides all that "Basic Surf" offers plus, video on YouTube, Snapchat, and TikTok, as well as music streaming (Pandora and Spotify) and video calling. Video streaming is not available with this package. You can choose to purchase internet packages for one day at a time, or purchase for the length of your voyage. Internet packages may be purchased once onboard.
I hope that somewhere between those options lies the access you are needing to carry on with some work duties while you are at sea. However... I hope it's not too much work because there are a lot of opportunities for PLAY that I don't want you to miss out on. Transatlantic sailings have some especially unique entertainment and activity offerings. Crew-led talent shows, Hide and Seek with Ship Officers, special guests in the Walt Disney Theatre, and a boat-building competition... just to name a few!
Have a magical time, Katelyn! Please sail back to planDisney again. My pals and I would love to help with any of your planning needs.
