Welcome to planDisney, Sooraj! With your trip coming up in just a few days, it's a great time to make sure that you have all the proper documents with you to make your travel and vacation go as smoothly as possible. I'm happy to chat with you about what kind of ID you may need on your trip and when you might be asked to present identification.
First things first, your two-year-old does not need to have any kind of identification to enter Walt Disney World Resort. Children under three are considered special guests of Mickey Mouse and do not need to have admission to enter the Theme Parks. You will not be asked to prove your child's age, so don't worry about bringing their birth certificate or any other important documents.
As for you and your wife, there are a few circumstances in which you might be asked for identification. If you have any tickets that need to be picked up at Will Call, you'll need to present your ID to claim them. Valid identification can be a driver's license, passport, military ID, or another form of government-issued photo identification. This is not common, and you probably already have your tickets purchased and linked to your
My Disney Experience account. If you plan on purchasing any alcoholic beverages, you will also need to present a
valid form of ID, and you will be asked for identification when you check in to your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, but beyond that, you probably won't need your identification at any other time.
I hope this answers your question, Sooraj, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
