What kind of food and drink are you allowed to bring into the parks?

    Hi Darla,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We love being able to spread a little pixie dust on all your Disney vacation plans.

You are most definitely allowed to bring food items—such as snacks or foods that do not require heating—inside the Disney theme parks. I suggest that whatever snacks you carry be non-perishable items, since the sun's heat will bear down on you all day. I generally pack Ritz Crackers, goldfish, animal crackers, fruit bars, protein bars and granola bars for my entire crew.

Please be sure to inform a Security Cast Member of any food items when you enter the theme parks. You may also bring drinks into the parks. However, be sure to observe the rules. Glass containers (with the exception of baby food) and any type of alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Non-alcoholic liquids in plastic containers are fine.

You are allowed to bring a small soft sided cooler, but nothing on wheels. Follow the link provided to view a list of items not permitted inside Disney theme parks.

Disney Mom Tip: You can ask for a free cup of ice water at any Counter Service dining location found throughout the Disney theme parks. This can save you money, keep you hydrated and eliminate the need to carry drinks.

Wishing you a most memorable visit to the place where The Magic is Endless!
