Is there any kind of elevator in the water parks for poeple with special needs to get to the slides?

    Hi Mataas,

DIsney World is highly accessible to guests with special needs, including mobility issues. Most attractions, shows and exhibits are wheelchair accessible. This does become harder with the two water parks however. While both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon are wheelchair accessible, most of the slides are not designed with elevators or lifts to allow for wheelchair access. Guests will be able to enjoy a number of the water areas with special access areas and full information can be provided in the Guests with Disabilities pamphlets available on property. You can find basic information here. You can also find some great planning information here. Another place to check for information on DIsney World vacations with special need guests is at allears.net under the Planning Topic for Special Needs.

    Hope this helps!
