What kind of drinks and snack are allowed to be taken into the Magic Kingdom

    Hi Jennifer,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad you stopped by. I always bring a few snacks and bottled water into the parks. It's great to have something for the kids in a pinch and it's so important to stay hydrated in the Florida heat.

There are a few restrictions on what you may not bring into the parks. A small soft-sided cooler is fine but anything that rolls or has wheels is prohibited. You can bring any drinks as long as they are non-alcoholic and in plastic containers. Glass containers are not allowed, with the exception of baby food jars. You can view the Park Rules here for more information.

Other than that, I recommend choosing items that won't melt or spoil. My family typically packs cereal bars, pretzels, crackers, trail mix, fruit, and of course, water. These are easy to eat on the go and stay tasty throughout the day.

Having snacks with you is a great idea, but make sure to leave room for a few special Disney treats during your vacation. My friends are big fans of the classic Dole Whip, but I have to give a shout out to my personal favorite, the citrus swirl from Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland. I also love the giant cinnamon bun at Gaston's Tavern and of course, popcorn!

Wishing you a fun-filled day at Magic Kingdom Park, Jennifer. Please let us know if we can help you in the future.

    Happy planning!
