Can I get any kind of a dining plan if I am only getting tickets to the park and not actualy staying at one of the resorts? We are taking our first family trip to WDW in January 2010.

    Hi Julie,

The Disney Dining Plan is available to guests that book vacation packages at a Walt Disney World resort. In order to qualify for a DDP, guests must stay at a WDW resort and purchase at least a one day Magic Your Way ticket for each member of their party.

Annual Passholders are exempt from the ticket requirement but they must stay at a WDW resort to add a Disney Dining Plan to their vacation.

We frequently travel to WDW in January. It's a nice time of the year to visit with low crowds!
