Ahoy there, Susan! Thank you for sailing by planDisney with your question.
When you complete Online Check-In, you will need to associate a form of payment with your Onboard Account. That can be a credit or debit card or cash.
Disney Cruise Line accepts Visa, MasterCard, Disney Visa Credit Card, American Express, Discover Credit Card, Diners Club International, and Japanese Credit Bureau. Your credit card will not be charged during Online Check-In. Since you will be purchasing Onboard Credit, I suggest you select cash as your form of payment.
If you want to combine gift cards before purchasing your Onboard Credit, use the
Disney Gift Card website. The maximum value for a Disney Gift Card is $1000. Make sure to keep the gift cards just in case you need to receive a refund on one of them!
You can visit the
Onboard Gifts webpage on the Disney Cruise Line website to purchase your Onboard Credit. You can make this purchase up to three days before your sailing. If you do not get a chance to make your Onboard Credit purchase in advance, no need to worry! You can take your Disney Gift Cards to Guest Services once you embark on your ship to add them to your Onboard Account.
Susan, if you have any other questions before your magical vacation onboard Disney Cruise Line, come back to visit us at
planDisney.
Adventure is out there!
