Kind of a crazy question but could I purchase tickets today and not use them until the end of 2014 or beginning of 2015? Not sure when we'd actually be able to get back to the World but with price increases it seems like a good idea.

    Hi Ashley,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  Rest assured, your question is not crazy!  I am glad to hear that you are thinking of coming to Walt Disney World Resort, it is great that you are planning ahead, and purchasing Magic Your Way Base Tickets in advance is a great way to off-set some of the costs.

You will be happy to know that Magic Your Way Base Tickets are non-date specific until you activate them by entering into one of the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks.  Once you enter a Theme Park your Magic Your Way Base Tickets will expire 14 days after the first use, unless you have purchased the No Expiration option.  So as long as you do not activate your Magic Your Way Base Tickets (by scanning your tickets at the front gates of any Walt Disney World Theme Park) you should be all set for whenever you choose to visit in the future.  You are also able to add different options such as the Park Hopper, Water Park Fun & More or No Expiration Options onto your Magic Your Way Base Tickets once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort.

Sending you extra Pixie Dust hoping you will be able to make it back to Walt Disney World Resort sooner rather than later!
