Ahoy there, Patricia! Welcome aboard, planDisney!
I love seeing questions about one of my favorite subjects: coffee! (In fact, there’s currently a cup of coffee sitting next to me right this very moment!) Add in my other favorite subject, Disney Cruise Line, and answering your question brought a lot of pep to my afternoon!
I’ve visited the coffee shops onboard Disney Cruise Line MANY times for those delicious cappuccinos, chatted with the Baristas about the brand of coffee beans they use, ordered the complimentary coffee from Room Service at least once a day, with an added visit to the included coffee stations next to the pool deck as an afternoon pick-me-up. But I wanted to be sure to give you the most up-to-date brand for the cappuccinos. When doing some research, I saw that my friend,
Dustin, already had
an exact answer!
The cappuccinos onboard Disney Cruise Line, in
Cove Cafe, and the other coffee shops onboard are made using illy coffee, one of my absolute favorite coffee bean brands. In fact, illy is the brand I use in my own cappuccino machine at home now, after many Disney cruise sailings.
If you’re also wondering about the brand of coffee served in
Room Service as well as in the complimentary coffee stations on the pool decks, that would be Joffrey’s, a Disney classic.
Since I could go on and on about coffee (and am energized enough to do so by this point, thanks to that cup of coffee sitting next to me), let me also give you two recommendations for your next Disney cruise sailing:
- When purchasing your first cappuccino onboard, pick up a Loyalty Card at Cove Cafe or the other specialty coffee shops onboard. Once you’ve stamped all the slots, you can earn a free cappuccino or specialty coffee drink!
- If you’re purchasing a hot drink, ask for Disney latte art! There are so many to choose from, such as your favorite characters and even the name of the ship you’re sailing on!
Patricia, I wish you strong coffee and magical memories, always! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any more questions.
See ya real soon,
Rana
