    what kind of coffee pots do they have in the rooms at the Port Orleans French Quarter

    Hi Linda,

    Happy to help you with one of the most important vacation details -- coffee! 

    My family just returned from a Christmas visit at Port Orleans French Quarter, one of our favorite moderate resorts. Since our last stay there, the coffeemakers in the rooms have been upgraded to a Keurig-style machine that uses the plastic pods. The room is supplied with cups, regular and decaf coffee and tea. I'm a black coffee gal, but sugar and nondairy creamer also are on hand.

    When we are at French Quarter, after a first cup of coffee in the room, we like to stop by Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory for more coffee and breakfast before we head out for our day.  I crave the cinnamon and sugar-crusted baguette french toast!

    You also don't want to miss the famous beignets, available at Scat Cat's Club Cafe from early morning to late night.
