Hi there, Amanda! Welcome to planDisney.
My family stayed at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge for the first time this summer, and we fell in love. The cozy lodge ambiance, stunning lobby, and tranquil nature setting made for such a relaxing place to return to after theme park fun. Plus, the boat transportation to Magic Kingdom Park is my very favorite way to travel at Walt Disney World. I just know you are going to adore your stay there!
We had a Keurig coffee maker in our room this summer. You'll find K-Cups of coffee, decaf, and a couple of tea varieties along with sugar, creamer, and stir sticks. These will be replenished when Mousekeeping visits, or you can call from your room phone to ask for more of anything. The rooms at Disney's Wilderness Lodge are newly refurbished, and they are just gorgeous. My time on the balcony sipping a cup of coffee and looking at the beautiful view each morning was so relaxing and the perfect start to a Disney day.
Amanda, I recommend brewing a coffee to go, stopping at
Roaring Fork for a campfire cupcake, and then finding a seat in the lobby to relax and take in the theming. Between the indoor creek, towering totem poles, and cozy fireplaces, it's one of the most beautiful spots at Walt Disney World. And I see you're visiting in late November, so if the holiday decorations and Christmas tree are up, you are in for a treat! The tree in the lodge's lobby is absolutely gorgeous. There is also a lobby Hidden Mickey scavenger hunt available - just ask a Cast Member at the front desk.
I'm raising my Mickey coffee mug in a cheers to your vacation! As you count down the days to your visit to Disney's Wilderness Lodge, we're here to help with any further questions you might have. Be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news - as Mickey makes his list and checks it twice, we should get some announcements about
holiday plans and festive fun. Enjoy it all!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
