Hi Rod,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Last year, your friendly Disney Parks Moms Panelists had a tour of the family suites at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and I fell in love that the beautiful theming, Disney details, and fantastic conveniences in the suites and in the resort as a while. In fact, I loved it so much, I went home and booked my family a stay there!
The last time I was in one of the family suites, the coffee makers were two-cup Cuisinart machines. These coffee makers are really neat; they take flat coffee pods that are similar to tea bags, only with coffee inside. Your room will be stocked with several of these pods, along with tea bags and coffee accessories. Should you run out of coffee pods and need more (definitely a struggle I can relate to), you can always call Mousekeeping, and they will be happy to replenish your supply.
Rod, the refrigerator in the room is a standard mini-refrigerator. My family hasn’t had any trouble storing a small milk container, a few sodas, yogurts, and assorted snacks in the refrigerator. You’ll also find a microwave and a sink in the kitchenette area, along with a nice amount of counter and shelf space for all your snack supplies.
Enjoy your stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort! Be sure to spend lots of time exploring the resort, because there are just so many fun touches everywhere. You’ll want to make time to flip your fins in each of the resort’s three beautifully-themed
pools. Pop your head under the water in the Big Blue Pool for a neat surprise, and make a point of heading over to The Drop Off Pool Bar for some delicious drinks.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
