What kind of coffee makers are used at the Disney dolphin hotel? Also, is there just a availability for hot water?

Welcome to planDisney, Robin! You are headed to Walt Disney World Resort in just a matter of days! I can imagine how excited you must be!

The Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel is settled in the middle of the magic and has many of the amenities of a Disney deluxe resort hotel. While not operated by The Walt Disney Company, it is a favorite choice of many guests for their Disney vacation, and I can certainly see why. The accommodations are luxurious, and the location cannot be beat!

Now let's talk about the important stuff, like coffee! Each room is equipped with a CV1 single-serve coffee maker. These machines use special pods, and several are included. If you love coffee as much as I do, you'll eventually need more, so just let the front desk know, and they will be happy to restock the coffee station for you. It also includes a selection of teas. The person I spoke with was unsure if the machine would brew hot water if you don't insert a pod, we both assume that is the case. I also expect hot water to be available at the establishments listed below.

If you like specialty coffees or just want someone else to make your coffee (you are on vacation), there are lots of options:

    • Fuel is the perfect place to grab-and-go as you're headed to the parks. It is located in the Dolphin hotel, and they have coffee, as well as snacks.
    • Grounds is a full coffee bar and is also located in the Swan.
    • BoardWalk Deli offers sandwiches, bakery items, and Joffrey's coffee, which has become one of my favorites! This is a short walk from your resort to the Boardwalk area that encircles Crescent Lake. I love to find a seat with my morning coffee and people-watch or take a stroll around the boardwalk.
    • If you are up for a splurge, visit The Cake Bake Shop Bakery. While there is a full restaurant if you want a sit-down meal, you can also enter the bakery for a specialty coffee or dessert to-go. This place is quite an experience, so I recommend you at least check it out!
Robin, I want you to have the most wonderful vacation, and I know that it will be more magical when you get your favorite morning beverage! I hope you'll come back and see us at planDisney if you have any more questions!
