What kind of coffee makers are in the rooms at Pixar Place?

Hi Jim, and welcome to planDisney! As a mom of two young kids, I certainly love a caffeine boost in the morning with a nice, hot cup of coffee. My family stayed at the Pixar Place Hotel a few months ago, so you've got a friend in me to answer your question.

Jim, Guest rooms at the Pixar Place Hotel typically have a Keurig single-serve coffee maker. You'll find an assortment of pods nearby, which include a selection of regular and decaf coffee and tea. There are also little packs of creamer and sugar, disposable cups, and a couple of mugs – you'll have everything you need to make a nice morning drink.

You can also head downstairs to The Sketch Pad Café for something a little more indulgent. Flavored syrups, toppings, and different types of milk are available here, and you can get anything from a latte to an espresso con panna. There are also some quick food options. I enjoyed sneaking down here in the morning to enjoy my usual coffee order (an almond milk latte with vanilla syrup) while my husband stayed back with the sleeping kids. I appreciate that it opens early.

Since the theme here is coffee, let's get into coffee options in the park. It's Halloween Time, and there is a whole host of special brews available. Head to Royal Street Veranda for the Pumpkin Creme Brûlée Cold Brew, or Red Rose Tavern for the Pumpkin Cheesecake Cold Brew. If you're not a fan of pumpkin, there's a Mint Chip Cold Brew at Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree. You can check out all the tasty options in the Foodie Guide on the Disney Parks Blog.

Before we say goodbye, let's explore the hotel a little bit. The design and attention to detail truly bring the artistry and whimsy of Pixar films to life. I love walking around the lobby and taking in all the artwork. My favorite part of the Pixar Place Hotel, however, has to be the rooftop pool deck. There’s a splash pad, pool, whirlpool, and even lawn games. This is also where you can go on select nights to watch fireworks from Disneyland with a synchronized broadcast of the soundtrack. You should definitely try the Cold Brew Float from Small Bytes while you're there. Another fun activity currently offered at this hotel is Pixar Putt, a miniature golf course with amazing theming that can be booked for an additional fee.

Jim, you’re in for a dream stay at Pixar Place Hotel. I hope you have a wonderful time, with plenty of relaxing moments sprinkled in. If you think of any other questions, you know where to find us!
