Hi, there!
Welcome back to planDisney, James. We're so glad to see you again! It looks like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is quickly approaching. I bet you're counting down the days with excitement!
As a mom of three, a backpack is a must-have for my family's pixie-dusted adventures in the theme parks. I'm always sure to pack snacks, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, ponchos, some Ziploc bags (these come in handy for all sorts of reasons!), a change of clothes for my little one, wipes, and a charger for my iPhone. For our most recent visit this summer, I also packed plenty of spare face coverings in my backpack!
To answer your question, the official
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules state that backpacks must be no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. I've taken several types of backpacks into the theme parks over the years, and they've all been just fine! As long as your backpack is no bigger than the dimensions listed, it will be a-ok. It's important to note, though, that all bags may be subject to screening at security checkpoints.
Your visit is the perfect time to check out the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. With
global marketplaces,
live entertainment, and
fun for all ages, this special event is not to be missed!
I hope this was helpful, James. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have about your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
