Kim,We have ADR at 1900PF for9am on sept.17 Is it faster to take the monarail or the boat from Magic Kingdom to 1900 PF. Taking bus from PC resort. Thanks sandra from ON

    Hi Sandra!
When you exit the bus at the Magic Kingdom, proceed towards the monorail. However, you will be passing by the sign for WDW Resort Launches. If a boat is at the dock, enter! The Gold Flag Launch will stop first at the Grand Floridian.

This option would not be timely if a boat is not there, and would not be available during bad weather. Proceed to the Resort Monorail where you will journey from the Magic Kingdom, to the Contemporary, to the Transportation and Ticket Center, to the Polynesian and finally to the Grand Floridian.

Note: on our last visit to WDW, the monorail was always at the station before the water launch so we never took the boat back to the Grand Floridian.

Another option would be to walk to the Contemporary Resort from the bus stop at the Magic Kingdom and then hop on the monorail. I would depart at 8 a.m. for your 9 a.m. Advance Dining Reservation at 1900 Park Fare.

Enjoy breakfast. Make sure to leave time to explore the Grand Floridian!
