Hi Kimberly, I live in Harrisburg, PA & my oldest daughter's name is Kimberly (21 yrs old). I'm taking my Mom (81 yrs old) to WDW in Nov 08. I have reservations at CBR. We will have 2 ECV's. Is there enough room to bring these into the room at nig

    Hi neighbor!

It's wonderful that you are taking your Mom to WDW this November. You must be renting or bringing your own ECVs since the ones that you rent at the parks are only for use while touring. Not a bad idea since the CBR is a very large but SO beautiful resort.

The Caribbean Beach Resort rooms are the largest in the moderate category. Your Electronic Convenience Vehicles should fit in the room for overnight. I've heard of guests asking for the small bench to be removed or moved in order to park an ECV in that location. I'm thinking one could go in the space between the bed and the door. Then you may want to move your table and 2 chairs closer to the TV armoire and park another one near the wall and air conditioning unit. Please leave room so you can access your door to the outside!

    First tip:
Bring a rain poncho for the ECVs. This way if they are left outside at any location and rain is in the forecast, your rides will be dry.

    Second tip:
Please have noted on your reservation that you request a first floor room for mobility issues. There are no elevators in the village buildings at CBR.

    Third tip
Bring an extension cord (or borrow one from Housekeeping) so you have more leeway in where to park the scooter in your room. At the Grand Floridian, I saw guests parking theirs overnight in the hallways.

    Wishing you a magical journey!
