    Hi Kimberly! I see that you are a family of 3 with a special 'prince'. We are a family of 3 and have 'prince' as well. Can you tell me if there are any rides at the 4 parks that would not allow all 3 of us to ride together? Thanks so much!

    Yes we are indeed a family of three which includes our Prince-in-Training!

    I’m going to go on a tour of WDW (in my head) and remember which rides we happened upon where Mom or Dad had to ride alone. Actually now that my son is “Mr. 8”, there were a few times where Mr. 18, oh I mean Mr. 8, asked to go by himself while we followed in another vehicle. For the most part, our son usually takes turns going with Mom or Dad. We let him choose his preferred passenger.

    If your prince is small, there are some attractions where you might have to separate by a row but rarely in an entirely different vehicle.

    Magic Kingdom -
    Dumbo, 2 per elephant
    Space Mountain sits passengers toboggan style
    Splash Mountain, you’ll be able to sit in the same log but two people will be side by side in 1 compartment and one person will go in the other compartment.

    The following attractions were okay for us to go 3 per vehicle or row when our son was younger:
    Peter Pan
    Buzz Lightyear
    Spaceship Earth
    The Seas with Nemo and Friends
    Journey into Imagination
    Maelstrom
    Big Thunder Mountain

    At Triceratops Spin in the Animal Kingdom and Magic Carpets of Aladdin in the Magic Kingdom, you will sit in the same vehicle but there will be two people in 1 seat, and 1 in the other.

    Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios and Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom offer traditional roller coaster type seating so there will be 2 people per row.

    Truly, there are many more times that we’ve been able to ride together than we’ve had to separate. Now we are only limited by the size of our child since he’s big for his age. Most other attractions will allow you to travel with each other. For instance, on Soarin’ you’ll be seated next to each other and be able to watch your child’s reaction when he smells the oranges while flying over the citrus orchard. And aboard Pirates of the Caribbean, you'll set sail together on an amazing voyage!
