hi kimberly! can't live w/out this panel! 7:40am ADR @ chef mickey's & MUST get to HS as son's only mission is to be in the jedi academy. HS opens @ 9 that day (5/3). will we make it to registration on time? can we get disney bus to HS from contemp? T

    Hi!!

Well, let me throw you another lifeline. First, arrive to your Advance Dining Reservation (ADR) earlier and ask to be seated as soon as possible. Chef Mickey's begins serving at 7:00 a.m. If a family overslept (likely at this early hour!), a Cast Member may be able to seat you earlier. Or call now and see if you can get in earlier! Otherwise, I don't think you'll get to Disney's Hollywood Studios by the 9:00 a.m. opening.

Most character meals take about 45 minutes to 1 hour to enjoy the meal and see all of the characters. Don't rush your experience!

Afterwards, go directly to the bus stop. Catch a bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios (DHS). Once en route, it'll take about 20 minutes to arrive DHS.

Sign ups for the Jedi Academy Training shows begin right at park opening. You'll need to be at Rope Drop and walk directly toward Star Tours (although it'll still be closed during your visit). Cast Members will have a line formed to take names for the Jedi Academy. A parent must be present with the child.

It might be worth investing in a taxi ride from the Contemporary to Disney's Hollywood Studios!! Keep your vacation stress-free!!
