Hi Kimberly! Your advise has been a great help. We've several dining reservations for our first trip to WDW in May. We noticed that many of our reservation have a "first visit" celebration listed. Do you know what that is and does it cost extr

Hi Michelle! Thank you for your kind words. I just love helping guests plan pixie-dusted vacations.

When you made your dining reservations, there was a button to Add a Celebration to your reservation. First-time visitors to Walt Disney World can note it on their hotel and restaurant reservations.

Sometimes, Cast Members will present first-time guests with special greetings, complimentary desserts, autographs from Mickey Mouse, balloons, etc. There is no guarantee that you'll receive any treats but noting your special celebration is the first step in possibly receiving some extra magic.

    There is no cost.

Birthdays, anniversaries and other milestones can be noted on all reservations as well. A couple of weeks ago, we were at WDW and I had noted my son's birthday on our restaurant reservation. At Chef Mickey's, he received a cupcake!

Ask for 1st Visit buttons from Guest Services. Wearing these pins will draw even more attention to your family!
