Kim L - Thnx for your tip on car v. bus. Have ADR @ CP 8:05. MK opens @ 9. If we drive from CSR to TTC will we be able to park and get to MK in order to make our ADR or is it better to use the bus? (would rather drive)

    Hi.
We drive. I just like to have control of when I'm leaving and what time I'll get back to my resort. This is a bit more difficult when traveling to the Magic Kingdom via car as you must park at the Transportation and Ticket Center. From the TTC, it's then on to the MK via ferry boat or the monorail. However my family finds traveling to the MK via these routes much more magical than by the bus.

There is something to be said about taking the bus and being dropped right off near the MK gate though.

As far as which is more efficient? The bus would be IF a MK bus was available right away. However if you end up standing in line waiting for a bus to pull up then your experience getting to your ADR could become nerve-wracking.

For an early MK Advance Dining Reservation, we like to park at the TTC (usually very near the front of the lot) so that we do not need to access a parking tram. We then board the monorail to the MK. For some reason, the wait for the monorail never seems as long as the wait for the bus. I don't know if that's just my experience though.

I like to try our options. If you have a day earlier in the week that you are touring the MK, try taking the bus. Then you'll know if that option suits your family for the morning of your ADR.

I have found that bus vs. car is a personal preference. Some folks just want to leave the driving to Disney.

Best wishes on your magical vacation!
