Which kids-friendly event/activity do you recommend for New Year Eve at hotel or parks?

    Hi Luz,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted to hear that you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort to celebrate the coming of the New Year!

First, I suggest that you check out the Disney Parks Blog article "Ring in the New Year at Disney's Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World." The Pixar Party: A New Year's Eve Celebration is a family-friendly event. Of course, there are a host of other activities throughout the theme parks and resorts. Review the New Year's Eve at Walt Disney World Resort guide to see what might interest your family and fit within your budget.

Also, consider New Year's Eve dining. Since my family loves to eat, we always look for special dining experiences. Garden Grove is a family friendly character dining experience that is serving dinner on New Year's Eve. Remember to bring those autograph books! Even if we mistakenly leave them in the room, we have stopped by a gift shop to purchase them before dining. Our girls love getting autographs from their favorite characters. Finally, I recommend advanced dining reservations, especially for character meals.

Luz, I also suggest that you consider New Year's Eve at Disney Springs. Find one of the free, live musical performances and break out your best dance moves!

Most of all, I wish you happiness and health in the New Year. May the magic of Disney follow you forever!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
