We 2kids/3adults are coming in the fall for twins bday. We are staying off-site to save $$ but I want the kids to have the best wdw exp. Which is the character meal not to be missed? Other WDW events not to be missed for their b-day(not actual but close)?

Hi, Dawn!   Glad to hear you are celebrating in Disney!

Your twins might enjoy having their birthday celebration at Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort.  Mickey, Minnie, and the gang are on hand to dance along with all the guests.  Each character comes around to your table for photos and autographs.  When making your reservation, mention you are celebrating a birthday.  The restaurant usually brings a special cupcake to mark the occasion.

While at the Magic Kingdom, check the schedule for the time of the "Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It! Street Party.  It will be a 15 minute street party (beginning in mid-February) where everyone can dance and celebrate any occasion!

When you visit the parks, stop by guest services for a free "Happy Birthday" button so everyone knows the twins are there to celebrate!

Have a great birthday celebration vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
