Can kids wear shoes that have wheels in them "Heely" shoes at the Disney Park? My daughter would like to bring hers with us

    Hi Suzanne,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

The Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules have been carefully developed with Guests’ security in mind. These rules unfortunately include a prohibition on several types of “recreational devices” includes shoes with built-in wheels. From what I understand, that unfortunately includes “Heely” shoes. Your daughter won’t be able to wear them anywhere in Walt Disney World Resort during your upcoming visit, so I’d recommend that your daughter save the packing space in her suitcase for other things that she can actually use during her vacation.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. We’re always more than happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne

Hi, I’m Lynne from Montreal, Quebec, Canada! I’m a working mom who enjoys snuggles with my son and my husband, who has been my sweetheart since 1997. We’ve been lucky enough to experience several milestones in Walt Disney World, including our wedding and honeymoon in 2009. As Disney Vacation Club members, we often plan trips for large, and sometimes even multi-generational, groups to come and enjoy the fun with us. Learn More About Lynne
