Kids and I are used to sleeping with fan or air purifier running. Do the air conditioners at POR have a setting to run consistantly? If not, any suggestions?

Hi Susan! Port Orleans Riverside is a great resort choice for your upcoming Disney vacation! I love the location the theme.

The rooms have all been refurbished recently so it will seem like a new resort for you. Unfortunately, the resorts do not have continual air conditioning settings for the rooms. I have many friends who need the sound machine noise for a better night sleep. There are some travel sized options that would fit your need. They are not inexpensive but they offer the same amenity as you are used to at home. I suggest you try Sharper Image on line to see what they have for purchase. They will be small enough to easily transport in suitcases for travel.  You can also consider finding a small inexpensive fan that will fit in luggage that might also give you the noise for sleeping.  You can find these at local hardware stores or travel companies on line such as Magellans and TravelSmith.

Vacations are tiresome when you are exploring the parks each day and a good nights sleep is very important to keep up your energy. It is worth the investment to bring something along that will aid in this if you have the need. You certainly don't want to miss out on any of the Disney magic!
