Hi there, Quiana!
Thank you for contacting planDisney! Experiencing Disneyland Resort with preschool-aged children is beyond special! I loved watching my kids enjoy Disneyland at that age. Everything was pure magic!
To enter a theme park,
Guests aged 3 and older are required to have both a valid ticket or Magic Key pass and a park reservation.
Magic Key sales are usually available for a limited time. If you would like to purchase a Magic Key pass for your child, you can do so now if the pass you want is still on sale. You can then wait to activate it until your kiddo turns 3 years old. The current
Magic Key Terms and Conditions state that a Pass will expire if it is not activated within one (1) year from the date of purchase. This means you have up to one year to begin using a new pass.
If you do not want to purchase a Magic Key pass for your child yet, you can most likely wait until the child turns 3 years old. In my experience, families that currently have Magic Key passes for other household members can purchase a pass for their 3-year-old, even if Magic Keys are not on sale at that time. This can be done by calling the
Magic Key Holders line or by visiting a ticket booth in front of Disneyland.
Your little one may enjoy
Pixar Fest, which takes place from April 26 through August 4, 2024! This celebration of friendship will feature many all-new offerings, plus some returning favorites! My youngest child is most excited about the ‘Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!’ Parade at Disney California Adventure Park, and my oldest kiddo who loves to dance is looking forward to the Club Pixar nighttime party. Pixar Fest has fun experiences for kids of all ages!
Quiana, thank you again for reaching out to planDisney. We would love to hear from you again if you have other questions!
Magic Happens!
