My kids & I are traveling to WDW last week of August. I made ADRs for breakfast as early as 7:10 a.m. We are staying at All Star Sports. Will we be able to get a bus early enough to get there? My early ADRs are at Polynesian & Contemporary. Thanks!

    Hi Dawn,

In my opinion, there is no better way to start your day than with a character meal! They provide a fantastic opportunity to meet and greet with Disney characters without having to spend time waiting in line at the parks and are a lot of fun for all the family!

My family have never encountered any problems using Disney's complimentary transportation to get to early morning dining reservations and have caught Disney buses as early as 6.30am.

Disney are aware that many guests make dining reservations for breakfast at restaurants in the parks and resorts prior to park opening times. In order to get to your breakfast reservations, you will need to catch a bus from your resort to the Magic Kingdom and then from there, hop on a monorail to either the Polynesian or Contemporary Resort.

As a guide, I would suggest that you leave an hour when travelling from Resort to Resort using Disney's complimentary transportation.

If there are no other guests on the bus when you board, I would mention to the driver that you have a dining reservation at the Polynesian or Contemporary Resort as there is a chance that he may be able to request permission to take you directly to the hotel

If you have any concerns about this at all, I would recommend speaking with a Cast Member at guest services at your resort the day before for confirmation that transportation will be available.

    Wishing you a magical trip!
