Hi Jessica, welcome to planDisney. I like the way you think! The
special offers at the Disneyland Resort are a nice sprinkle of pixie dust when it comes to purchasing theme park tickets and booking a hotel stay. Let's talk about how you can take advantage of these limited-time offers to maximize the magic of your next visit.
The short answer to your question is yes. You could use the
Southern California Resident Ticket Offer for yourself (assuming you can show proof of eligible residency) and the
Kids' Special Ticket for your child. However, because these are unique ticket types, you'd likely need to purchase them in separate transactions. I chatted with a delightful Cast Member, Helen, who confirmed this would be the easiest approach.
Make sure you are signed into your Disney account on the
Disneyland website and follow the prompts to purchase your Southern California Resident Ticket. Once the transaction is complete, repeat the process for Kids' Special Ticket.
Each ticket offer is unique. You'll want to keep track of the offer details to ensure everything fits together as well as a perfectly orchestrated parade. Here are some things to keep in mind:
– The
Kids’ Special Ticket Offer (for ages 3-9) can be purchased as a 1-, 2-, or 3-day ticket. The multi-day tickets are valid for 13 days after the first use or on March 20, 2025, whichever comes first.
– The
Southern California Resident Ticket is available as a 3-day ticket. Adults must show a government-issued photo ID at the entrance gate, such as a California Driver's License or California ID, to prove eligible residency within ZIP codes 90000 to 93599. These tickets are valid through May 15, 2025 and reservations can be spread out, subject to availability. However, you'll want to plan your trip around the kids' ticket, which has a shorter validity window.
Use the
Theme Park Reservation Availability tool to see which dates can be reserved for the various ticket types. Once you find dates you like that are open to both ticket types, purchase your tickets in two subsequent transactions. During the purchase process, you'll select the dates and parks for which you want to create reservations. Purchasing the tickets around the same time gives you the best chance of securing the dates you want.
Jessica, I see that your trip will likely be in early February. As you finalize the dates of your Disneyland Resort visits, keep in mind that there are a few nights when Disneyland will close early for the
Sweethearts' Nite after-dark event. And if you're a foodie like me, plan one of your park visits for California Adventure during the
Food & Wine Festival (beginning February 28, 2025). It's a deliciously fun experience filled with culinary demonstrations, entertainment, and creative menu options.
I hope this information helps your plans come together as perfectly as a fairytale ending! Wishing you many magical memories at the Happiest Place on Earth.
