    Hi, me and my 3 kids (9,7,4)are taking our first Cruise on the Fantasy. My oldest has Down Syndrome and since I'm traveling as the only adult, I want to make sure they all have a great experience with the kids clubs. Anything that I should do to prep?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for sailing by while you plan for your upcoming cruise! Ooo, the Disney Fantasy is just bursting with fun on every deck! You and your pirate crew will love all the onboard activities, especially the Broadway-style show, Disney's Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular!

    I can't share enough how phenomenal Disney Cruise Line is with children with special needs! My little pirate has special physical and medical needs and the Cast Members always treat him like every other Mouseketeer onboard: with compassion, warmth and boatloads of energy! Also, Disney Cruise Line's Special Services Team is wonderful to speak with before each of our cruises. They go out of their way to make any accommodations needed for my son during our voyage. This is why cruising with Captain Mickey is my family's go-to vacation!

    Your oldest kiddo will have a BLAST in Disney's Oceaneer Club and Disney's Oceaneer Lab with his/her siblings! I completely understand you wanting to plan for a smooth-sailing and fun experience for everyone! I recommend stopping by the Youth Clubs during the Open House hours on embarkation day to speak with the Youth Counselors and introduce your oldest kiddo to them! This will be the perfect opportunity to take a tour of the exciting spaces together as a family, so everyone is comfortable and ready to have fun as soon as the ship sets sail. Prior to setting sail, you may also want to give Special Services a call at (407) 566-3602. After hearing about your incredible cruiser, they might recommend an accommodation that you didn't even know was available!
