My kids, 7 and 2, and I are tagging along with my husband for a conference in Oct. I will be doing the day activities with the kids. What's the best way to allow my 7yo to go on rides that my 2yo isn't big enough for. Also any other "single parent&quo

    Hi, Kristilyn!

How nice you get to travel as a family to Walt Disney World!  Hopefully, Daddy will find plenty of "play" time to spend with the family each evening.

I suggest you use your days to enjoy attractions that you can all enjoy together.  There are so many that the three of you can ride together:  Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, it's a small world, Haunted Mansion, Little Mermaid, Prince Charming's Regal Carousel - and all of these are just at Magic Kingdom!  You will find a friendly Cast Member at the front of each queue, so inquire whether your party of three can sit together on that attraction.  They will advise you before even entering the line.  Easy as can be!

Save some of the "big kid" attractions for when Dad can join you and you can have one-on-one coverage for your kids!  I think you will find plenty to do during the day that will keep all three of you super happy and full of magic.  Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
