My kids are SUPER picky. They'll be 9 and 11 when we travel, so adults by age for the dining plan. Can they order a kids meal, even though they're considered "adults" for pricing purposes?

Hi Virginia! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love seeing questions from folks that also live in the great state of Tennessee! We also have something else in common ... kids who are extremely picky eaters! I understand the frustration that can come with that.

Ages 10 and up are considered adults on the Disney dining plans, so one of your kiddos will be considered an adult. The good news is that Cast Members are usually very helpful when it comes to pleasing the kids and I have many friends who have had their "Disney adult" children order from the kid's menu. While there is more value to a dining plan when ordering off the regular menu, it doesn't make sense to order something that your 11-year old won't eat! When you arrive for your meal, simply let the Cast Member know your dilemma and they will help you find something suitable for your kids.

Enjoy your upcoming vacation, Virginia! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have. Happy eating!
