    My kids are 6 and 8, we're staying in POR from 11/28 to 12/6. Are there any must do/see things (holiday related) outside of the 4 parks that we should get to? I heard there's a gingerbread house in one of the resorts, is there anything else like that? Tks!

    Hi Maureen!

    There's holiday decorations in all of the Disney Deluxe Resorts and in the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels.  The best ones in my opinion are the Grand Floridian (where the life size gingerbread house is located), the Wilderness Lodge, the Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the Boardwalk Resorts.  It's definitely worth the time to visit those resorts!

    Downtown Disney is also decorated for the holidays and worth the visit.  Also, Fort Wilderness will offer a sleigh (carriage really) ride during the holidays.  It's definitely a fun thing to do outside of the parks!
