My kids spring break is in March 2019 the 17-22 We’re planning on going a few days longer... how horrible are the crowds at this time? Should I wait and hope our schedule opens to something better?

Hi Victoria! Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

We love visiting during Spring Break! In fact, we are currently planning our 2019 Spring Break trip to Walt Disney World Resort and it's around the same time as yours.

Yes - the crowd levels do start to increase but it's not unmanageable. The weather is typically warm but beautiful!

Because different school districts take different weeks off for Spring Break, the crowd levels are fairly spread out during March and then start to pick up in April. As is typical, the crowds are normally lighter in the morning so if you can plan to get up and start your day at theme park opening, it will help you maximize your time in the theme parks.

One year, my husband and son attended an Atlanta Braves Spring Training game at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. That was such a treat and something we wouldn't have been able to do if we had selected another time of year.

If you are concerned about Spring Break and find a different time, I know that will be great as well. Just don't be afraid to visit during Spring Break. Use all of your resources such FastPass+ and know that we are here to help you plan a magical vacation!
