Hi, if our kids will be spending more time in Mickey's slide in the Dream, where's the best spot or deck for us parents to hang out or eat while enjoying our food and keeping an eye on them? Also, where's the best spot for a sail a wave party?

Greetings, Diane and a warm welcome back to planDisney!

"Mickey's Slide" directly beside Mickey's Pool on the Disney Dream is such a fun, fun place for children - I have many good memories of watching my children enjoy the slide when they were younger. Diane, I was able to supervise my children in close proximity, either on a nearby lounge chair or while enjoying a meal from the nearby covered deck area which provided tables and chairs. I'll never forget seeing my autistic son, who on his first ride down, decided to stand up midway - well, I'm sure everyone on the ship heard me address him that day. I sure did need a hot coffee after that, and luckily the Beverage Station was right beside the Mickey Slide.

For any Disney Cruise Line Sailing Away Celebrations, I always like to head up to the very next level above the pool deck, mid-ship because the vantage points are outstanding!

    Tips:
Diane, I hope you take some time to relax and pamper yourself over at Senses Spa & Salon, I always treat myself to the Rainforest Day Spa and truly enjoy those heated loungers in the Thalassotherapy Room overlooking the sea after a refreshing series of showers.

Please ensure you complete your Disney Cruise Line Online Check-In 30-days before your sailing to select your Port Arrival Time, complete the necessary documentation and register your children at the Disney Cruise Line Youth Clubs.

Don't forget to download or update the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to manage your plans before and during your sailing - I, in particular, enjoy the use of the Onboard Chat feature to keep tabs on my landlubbers.

During your sailing you might want to consider a future sailing on the newest ship, the Disney Wish with a Disney Cruise Line Onboard-Only Booking Offer, wouldn't that be something?!

Diane, it was an honor and a real pleasure assisting you today, your question stirred up some really funny memories of our experiences with the Mickey Slide on the Disney Dream, in fact, I just booked a Northern European sailing on the Disney Dream and am so excited about it!

I wish you the Dream-iest sailing with Disney Cruise Line, Diane thank you so much for your loyalty in consulting planDisney!
