Kids going for a school function and are staying a few days over with me. Tickets through the school are on their own disney account however their magic band is on mine. How can i ensure they can use the band and me book queues for them on school tickets?

    Hiya, Jessie!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your vacation planning question. Looks like you and your family are only a month away from your visit to Walt Disney World Resort - oh boy! You're in for a treat, since you'll catch the dazzling grand finale of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration. The magic is calling!

Jessie, since it sounds like your children have their own My Disney Experience accounts, I recommend linking up your accounts via your Family & Friends Lists for planning purposes. To do this, navigate to your Family & Friends List in My Disney Experience, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and select "Add a Guest." Select "I'll enter their name and age." Enter the pertinent details, then choose "Invite this Guest to connect." Enter the email address associated with each child's My Disney Experience account. This will send each child an email with a link to connect via your Family  & Friends Lists. Once linked, you'll be able to view and make plans for one another, like dining reservations and Lightning Lane entrances (if you have valid theme park admission and theme park reservations for the same day).

Now that we have you connected in My Disney Experience, let's work on linking those MagicBands to your children's accounts! For this, you'll want to log into each child's designated My Disney Experience account to link their specific MagicBands to their respective theme park tickets. One at a time, log into your child's My Disney Experience account and navigate to My MagicBands and Cards. Scroll all the way to the bottom and tap "Link" under Link a MagicBand. Select "MagicBand" on the next screen, then enter the ID number on the back of the MagicBand to link it to the account. Repeat this step for each child's respective account and MagicBand.

Jessie, I hope this information makes your vacation planning just a little bit easier, and I encourage you to reach out to the My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ phone line if you run into technical difficulties. Feel free to stop back by planDisney with any remaining planning questions you might have - we're all ears!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
