My kids and I are planning a Disneyland vacation in Nov 2017. My husband is retired military. Can I use his ID to buy military discount tickets at the gate and enter the park, without him being there with us? If so, do I need and special identification?

    Hi Carla,
I'm so thrilled to hear you're planning a vacation to the Disneyland Resort in November!
After visiting the Parks in Florida you will see that the Parks in California have a Magical charm about them and hopefully, you'll be left with enough great memories to plan many more trips to the West Coast!
Carla, the Disney Military Promotional Tickets cannot be purchased at the Disneyland Ticket booths.
These special tickets can only be purchased at participating U.S. Military bases or sales outlets by either the active or retired member of the U.S. military or their spouse.
What this means is that yes-- as the spouse of an active or retired U.S. Military member you can purchase these special discount tickets on your husband's behalf with valid military identification, however, you would have to purchase them at a U.S. Military base ahead of your trip.
Once you arrive at the Disneyland Resort, you'll be able to avoid long ticket lines and head straight to the turnstiles with your Military Promotional Tickets!
I hope I've answered your question.
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
If you have any additional questions feel free to send them our way!
