Hiya, Jose, and welcome to planDisney!
Thank you for stopping by with this question. Looks like you’re gearing up to start your magical adventure at the Disneyland Resort very soon! As a fellow special-needs parent, I’m happy to clarify this for you and offer additional tips to help make your visit as smooth as possible. Let’s get started!
Wagons (including stroller wagons) are
not allowed at Disneyland. Any strollers larger than 31" (79 cm) in width and 52" (132 cm) in length are also prohibited. However, there can be an exception made for Guests with disabilities. In this case, the stroller wagon could qualify as a “Stroller as a Wheelchair.” Once you arrive, connect with a Cast Member on the Security or Guest Relations teams about your scenario.
Please keep in mind that each request is approved on a case-by-case basis, which means that it’s important for you to have a backup plan. There are
strollers available to rent at the park entrance. My family typically uses the double stroller, as it offers more room for our little princess.
If you have not already,
register for the Disability Access Service (DAS) before you arrive via live video chat. When talking with the Cast Member, you can also inquire about the stroller wagon, and they can provide additional suggestions and guidance.
If you’re unable to register beforehand, no worries! You can also register on-site at the
Accessibility Services Kiosk, which is located in the Esplanade between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.
Bonus Tip: I recommend downloading the
Accessibility Planning Guide & Recommendations and
Sensory Experience Details resources! These are my go-to tools to ensure that my park day plans align with my kiddo’s needs. I’m sure it will help you all too!
Jose, I hope this information helps and that you all have the most magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth! We are always here to assist if you have any additional questions.
Sending you faith, trust, and pixie dust,
Karmeen
