My kids are old enough to do things on their own (older teens) while we take a break in the park. What's the best way to give them access to their tickets and LL passes? Create their own accounts and link tickets? Log into my account from their phones?

Welcome to planDisney, Carissa! Thank you for bringing us this great question about your upcoming Disneyland Resort trip. It looks like you are just weeks away from the magic!

As a mom of teens myself, I am happy to give you some tips on how we navigate the park. I personally love having our kids at this age where if my husband and I wanted to take a break we can send the kids off to ride attraction after attraction. I think you have the right Idea and I would recommend just giving them access to your Disney account in the Disneyland app on their phones. We always have my husband, my oldest, and myself logged onto the Disneyland app with the same account without any issues. This means you already have all your tickets linked to make Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane selections easier. It's also handy because they can mobile order their snacks with whatever card you have on file too.

Now you will be able to enjoy that mid-day break without interruptions. Our favorite place to take an adult mid-day break is Lamplight Lounge! We love enjoying a local craft beer or specialty cocktail, sharing some lobster nachos, and watching Guests get sent off on a mission to catch baby Jack-Jack on Incredicoaster.

I noticed your arrival date and you'll be there for the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival, which is one of my favorites! You'll have plenty of entertainment, live music, and chef demonstrations to explore. Keep checking the Disney Parks Blog to see when they release the festival's Foodie Guide and extra information.

Carissa, thanks again for trusting us with your planning questions. Remember you've got a friend in us if you need any other answers while you plan!

You'll find us in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can fit in! I love helping my friends plan memorable trips to Disneyland Resort and can't wait to help you too! Learn More About Carrie
