My kids are under 16 do not have photo identification but the website indicated photo identification may be needed. Would a passport be acceptable? This is a trip of a lifetime so we don't want to show up and be denied entry.

Hi there, David. Welcome to planDisney!

I’m delighted to hear you’re planning a magical trip of a lifetime to the Happiest Place on Earth with your family.

I can understand why you’re worried about the lack of photo identification for your children, David. I want to reassure you that in general, Guests are not required to provide photo identification to enter Disneyland Resort with standard theme park tickets. However, there are some exceptions. One such instance is if you are trying to activate an Imagine Magic Key or taking advantage of the Anaheim Resident Tickets, since you’ll need to show proof that you reside within specific zip codes.

I wish you and your family a magical time on your upcoming trip! If you have more questions for us as you continue to plan your vacation to the Disneyland Resort, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again.

    Sending you pixie dust,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
