    Do kids need a passport on the Disney dream cruise to Bahamas?

    Ahoy Tonya –

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! A cruise on the Disney Dream is an excellent way to reconnect with your family and have a grand adventure. Children sailing with Disney Cruise Line are not required to have a passport for embarkation to the Bahamas. Children who are citizens of the Unites States and ages 16 and under are only required to bring either:

    1. An original state issued birth certificate, or
    2. An original Consular birth certificate if born outside of the United States, or
    3. An Original Certificate of Naturalization issued by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

    Passports are recommended in case of emergency so that your child may be able to fly home on a commercial aircraft if needed.
